So It Goes 02:09
I only like it when it hurts. You only like it when it comes from someone else. I'd take a beating for you if you were around. Some people call that modern. I've heard you call it doubt. It's like a box of broken bones. The ones you found under the house. The ones your parents used to suck out of each other. They'd do it right in front of your sisters and your brothers. And so it goes.

Enemies (free) 02:09
We only see each other once a year on Christmas And we're always standing guard. Because on those days we are liable to catch fire. At least we know who our enemies are. I’ve rolled up my sleeves and I’m willing. To play along for the sake of our Son, the Holy Ghost. My mind is a temple, my body is a sewer. At least we know who our enemies are. You might not expect me to fight my way out of this mess. But my knuckles are brass, my knuckles are crystal, my knuckles are glass. So I use my pistol. At least we know who our enemies are.

Return To 03:14
One day our family tree shook off its leaves, they floated overseas. We said we’d see how it goes. You left a wardrobe full of your clothes. The sister to the brother, The child to the mother, When will she return to this home? Tired hearts, bored limbs, blood guts, violins. We made a sound like no one could hear them. Tree swept glass pane. Losing feeling. We made a promise to live in the bedroom. Fingers to the ground, we don’t make a sound. Gotta fetch the others
